THE CANAL.

Passing over the frozen canal at Ladbroke grove this morning i couldn't help but stop and admire the picturesque scene it presented, and i wasn't the only one, cyclists were pulling over and pedestrians were also stopping to take in the view and watch the birds skidding over the ice, by four o'clock though the plastic bags, drink cans and general detritus were sitting on the half smashed now dirty ice. Hard (almost) to believe that the scene could be so altered in such a small space of time.
