As i cycled about yesterday i passed at least three of those dreadful 'pound' shops in about ten minutes, all of them were less than a mile from each other and all sell exactly the same tat, the way they have been popping up in every high street reminded me of the way that our high streets were suddenly bursting with fast food Chicken takeaways a few years ago ( a trend i particularly loathe).
I wonder if the amount of these pound shops that have appeared everywhere in the last couple of years and Woolies going bust are connected? Hhmm.....
