While looking at the photo i used for the post below (right) i noticed that the building behind the stall was once the headquarters of Oswald Mosley's fascist Blackshirt union (or what ever they were calling themselves then) , it was also a meeting place for the rioting whites during the anti immigrant troubles of the late 1950's, this grim but interesting piece of local history is one that is not mentioned very often and isn't the kind of subject you will read about in those crap estate agent 'magazines' that get shoved into every ones letter box's.
