At the other end of the Pop goes politics 'spectrum' (I was going to use a cruder term) from the Sex Pistols stance we have the drummer from Blur standing as the New Labour candidate for Paddington in the upcoming general election, or the area round the station anyway (the boundries seem to move so often that I have trouble keeping up with them).
