TOSSERS PLAYGROUND

I bumped into a mate last week while he was standing on Westbourne park road with steam coming out of his ears, "what's up?" I asked, I received a rant about "that Capaldi fella"
The show is 'Shameless' and the actor in question is "that Capaldi bloke, I dunno 'is first name" (his name is Peter). Anyway, my mate was on his bike passing the end of Kensington park road when a car shot out of the road and straight into Westbourne park road causing my mate to make a sudden swerve that almost took him into the side of a parked van ("it was that or go under the motor") outside New line's, the driver of this badly driven car then threw his hand up to say "wanker" at the mate on his bike while at the same time mouthing insults at him, and yes, you guessed it it was the bloke who plays the dad.
My mate was non too pleased at almost being knocked down at a blind corner and then insulted for it so he chased up after him and caught him by Tesco's where the actor was stuck in traffic (this is the bit I wished I could have watched, ooh the rage!) and as my mate was asking "what the f**k are you doing?"  'that bloke Capaldi' just "wankered him off' again" (such crisp language) while mouthing more insults at him, 'Capaldi' was apparently still in character as the lash head waster dad with the wig still on.....but in a smart new car, his car was also full of passengers, it has been theorised (by me in a dull moment) that 'Capaldi' was showing off in front of his friends (I saw the 'Capaldi fellow' last week or so on breakfast telly and he seemed quite mellow then, ego's eh).
Anyway, my mate (who is not shy about coming forward) saw red at this further insult, not wanting to "go through the hassle of smacking this arrogant ****", he decided instead to display his feeling of irritation (and physical frustration no doubt) by simply hurling a "small gob on his shiney new bonnet" (niiice! don't try that at home though), this had the desired magical effect of spinning the grumbly thespian into instant anger, my mate then just said to the actor "don't be so flippant with other peoples lives" and cycled off (better than another mate who used to attack vehicles lights with his 'D'-lock whenever his safety was called into question, and he was so nicely spoken as well).
This area does get a lot of people who treat it like it's the same as they do the west end and show no regard to the thousands of homes here, but I must say that most treat this area with a degree of restraint if not respect -both famous and non famous. It only takes one fool who is drunk with fame (and/or beer) to cause trouble though.
I suppose that the name of the show that brought him fame is ironic, but my mate was not in the mood to see the joke.
P.S I didn't know his name either and in looking it up I found an interview with him from the Grauniad website and had to add the below question and answer, it's the last question given and was intended as a cool parting shot sound bite thingy:
What's the biggest myth about acting?
"That it makes you camp. I've been an actor for 28 years, and I'm every inch the street fighter".
This made me laugh because the mate who had the dispute with "that Capaldi" is only five feet five (if an inch!) and "Capaldi's" would only mouth insults and wave his cupped fist, not even wind down his window, even with a car full of friends.
Oh dear.
