The 'Save Portobello market' link on the top right has links to letters of protest written to the council that detail apparent (I'd say bloody obvious) breaches of planning regulations by the council.
There is a public meeting at the town hall (co-incidentally, also built against planning regulations at the time, destroying the nice old building to build the orange monstrosity that is there now) on APRIL 13th.
