Being a music lover i feel quite smug knowing that i come from an area with such a rich and diverse musical heritage, but just where the boundaries of 'the area' are depends on who you talk to or what street you live in, it was initially hard to place bands 'in da area', but in order to do so i decided that the easiest way to place the bands and musicians within the fluctuating boundaries of 'Notting hill/west londonwas to include only those who came from or were based within a ten minute bicycle ride of Ladbroke grove tube station.
Hows that for a scientific approach?!
