STEP AWAY FROM THE DOOR.

When ever i see people standing by 'the door' having their picture taken i always wonder if they would be so happy to pose in front of it if they knew what used to go on behind it?
Before it was made famous by Richard Curtis who moved in then made the film of the same material the door used to hide a rather large crack cocaine business that was for a time situated on the premises, and it wasn't just a scabby old ten bag operation, this place was home to a rock selling business that hosted weekend long parties and even had adverts running covertly on 'jungalis' pirate radio on Saturday nights. Although the business was only operating for some weeks it lasted long enough to earn itself a reputation as a venue from the good old days before "the old bill wised up innit".
I have approached some tourists who were getting their photo taken at the door and regaled them with the tales of what when on behind 'the door' but they didn't seem too happy to find out for some reason.
P.S yes i know that isn't the actual original door, i don't care.
