NEWSPAPER SLURS NOTTING HILL.

On page eight of the free 'The London paper' newspaper this Monday past was a typically doom laden scare story about youth knife crime, the sort that makes it seem like all of us are due a stabbing very soon, and to illustrate the article there was a photo featuring a couple of young blokes, faces blurred, standing with three police men, accompanying the photo was a caption with the words 'police search youths for weapons in Notting hill' written in white letters in the bottom left.
Why? Notting hill isnt mentioned anywhere in the article, Notting hill has got absolutely nothing to do with the article in any way yet there it is, a photo of 'potentially dangerous young men being searched by the police in case they have knives', in Notting hill -or so the caption tells us.
This area isn't plagued with warring gangs and all that goes with them, and has a smaller body count and lower crime rate than many other London areas/boroughs, there was no need to chuck their free media dung like that at Notting hill's yoot. Or their mums.
S'a total liberty.
