The Carnival was dealt another blow yesterday when the Government put into effect an insane law making it illegal to photograph or film the Police, it is feared this action will seriously curtail any efforts the media and public make to photograph fat jolly smiling Policemen as they blow whistles and dance with big West Indian ladies who are wearing their helmets. It is also thought those who give their children to officers to pick up for impromptu family snaps during the Carnival procession will also be seriously hindered.
