Ex-minister and M.P John Redwood was quoted today as saying that "global warming will be good for tourism". Maybe that is one of the reasons why he is an 'ex' minister, and hopefully one of the reasons why he isn't going to be one again.
Just because he is named after a tree that does not automatically make him able to predict the future of them or how it will affect the destination choices of humanity at holiday times, at any time come to think of it. How he came to that conclusion is not something I wish to know.
But, judging by the dodgy company that young Cameron has been openly keeping of late, I wouldn't be surprised if Mr Redwood is given a new post if the Tories won (God forbid he should, the man obviously has a tenuous grip on normal daily life as it is).
