MORE WESTWAY MUTATIONS

The Mutoid Waste Co. along with some "co-horts" are putting on a new three weekend Christmas exhibition run.
As well as being plenty of new works to stare at and say "what's that all about?" or "what is it?",  there will also be some "old favourites" there. There I'm sure, to look at, sit on or even in. That's half the fun, you never know till you get there.
I wonder if they got their Russian MIG jet fighter through customs? Obviously it couldn't go as hand luggage, but would they be allowed to have it sailed over here? Did they bother? Could they even be bothered to try? It was quite big, I saw it when it was still in their Berlin site, sitting with it's nose pointed towards the sky, as if it was waiting to take off, impressive in it's own quite way.
A good mate (who has work on show) has been working hard at his sculptures, to get them 'just right' (as have all the artists), so do go along and look at the works, and not just the ones near or within eyesight of the bar, so him and all the other artists don't feel that their time has been wasted.
The last exhibition a few weeks ago seemed to have more people who were there to enjoy the space and surrounding art, rather than the 'been to be seen' types "which is nice".
I hope (I'm sure) this time will be just as good as the last.
To check them here is three links for their sites www.mutatebritain.co.uk
mutatebritain.wordpress.com.
They also have a page (or whatever they call them) on facebook, called mutatebritain, and one at myspace, here's that link www.myspace.com/mutatebritain
