I have just been given the sad news that someone I know has died of Swine flu of all things, and he was only in his late thirties.
I am gob smacked, he wasn't a caner and was in generally good health, his asthma couldn't of been a great help I'm sure, but he was young.
This has hit home to me what has generally been thought of in humourous terms, up until now that is.
Next time I hear someone making jokes about Swine flu I won't be laughing along I think.
Swine flu doesn't happen to us or our friends, it's something we read about in papers, something that happens to old and sick people we don't know, not the youngish, especially our friends.
Things like this turn urban tales into realities.
I'm rambling, so I'll stop.
Goodbye 'T'.
