PEACH PART TWO

I was reflecting on my Blair Peach comment, maybe it was just a bit too cynical and paranoid I thought, just bad timing I reasoned, no-one is using the race card in the election, it's to much of a cheap shot. Then I opened a newspaper and saw an article about the 'Anti-racist battle bus' that is following Labour politicians around.
It's not fighting racism that I dislike (just the opposite), it's the use of certain deeply felt issues like race being used just to demonise political opponents I dislike. Where politicians used to try and convince people by using their manifesto's and stance, now they just try to convince us to vote for them by telling what sauces their opponents might use when they spit-roast babies for dinner.
